This was followed by welcome address by Prof. Anjali Aggarwal\, and then the address by Professor Shri. Pramod\, HOD\, Government College of Arts\, Sec 10\, who express his delight on the event and the opportunity to the art student to absorb the latest developments in the market. Thereafter Mr. Bikramjit Singh\, Coordinator GO48 then presented the exciting opportunities presented by GO48 International to the audience. \nPanel Discussion with Guests Mr. Pradeep (Incredimate)\,Ms. Neelu Kapoor (SXILL)\, Prof. Anand Sharma (GCA)\, Dr. Walia (PEC)\, and Mr. Vineet Raj Kapoor (Chandigarh Design School). The panel was hosted by Mr. Bikramjit Singh\, who conducted the panel directly through student’s questions about the field. Students especially asked about creating professional portfolios\, and also about the impact of AI and strategies to handle the same. \nThis was followed by the Art Exhibition at Arts College which was reviewed by the eminent guests. The guests went through the art exhibition and spoke to each artist understanding their process. \nThereafter there were two expert sessions. \nFirst\, Mr. Vineet Raj Kapoor\, the Founder of Chandigarh Design School\, told the audience about the UXUI Sector and the opportunities it brings for the designers. He also shared many incidents from his life\, and also the lives of great leaders and how they used UX Design to resolve mammoth problems faced by humanity. \nParminder Singh\, Mentor SXILLUP\, enlightened the audience about Animation\, and how a student should go about cracking the Hollywood Studio interviews. He shared many incidents from the great animator’s lives to educate the students about the kind of preparation made by top animations. Earlier we would go directly to building the apps on what we thought was the issue. But this has widened our horizon. We have understood how much research must be done before attempting the solution. DESCRIPTION:SXILL took a giant step in Hosting the first ever SXILL Convocation for NSDC/ MESC QP Certification. This was done in order to step up the value of Skill Certification\, and distill honor amongst Artists. It was held on 26 August 2023 at SXILL. An MESC Certification is a Government recognition of the training Quality and would be useful for the students in the long run.\n  \nIndustry Leader Mr. Pradeep CEO of Incredimate was the Guest of Honor for 3D Modeller as well as Animator QP at the Convocation\nIndustry Leader Mr. Pradeep CEO of Incredimate was the Guest of Honor for 3D Modeller as well as Animator QP at the Convocation. He appreciated the enthusiasm of the students as well as the faculty at SXILL. He was overjoyed with the tour of the facility. He shared his our life journey as well as inspired the students with tips for success in life as an animator. \nPooja Arora\, Head North Region for MESC (Media and Entertainment Skill Council) was the Guest of Honor for Graphic Designer QP at the Convocation.\nPooja Arora\, Head North Region for MESC (Media and Entertainment Skill Council) was the Guest of Honor for Graphic Designer QP at the Convocation. She shared her experiences of working alongside the Experts at SXILL during Indiaskills in 2021-2022. She found that the Expertise at SXILL was way above that she normally finds at training institutes. She also shared information about Worldskills with the students and also MECAT and other initiatives being taken by MESC to encourage designers. \nThe names of the graduates were announced by respective Heads of Program and Indiaskills Experts Mr. Parminder Singh (Modeller and Animator QP) and Bikramjit Singh (Graphic Designer QP). \nIndustry Delegates Pradeep Incredimate Pooja MESC and Neelu SXILL took the stage at the SXILL Convocation\nNeelu Kapoor (Indian Graphics Expert Indiaskills\, and Founder SXILL) shared “I am happy that the students got their Certificates directly from the Industry Experts. I am sure this moment will be remembered by them for years. Also MESC has been a great support for us in bringing quality education to the students of India. I thank Mr. Pradeep and Ms Pooja for gracing the occasion. I am happy to share this journey to skill and equip Indian Youth with Vineet Raj Kapoor.”

DESCRIPTION:Speaker at World Design Organisation (WDO) Event on 29 June 2022 at Moscow \nWDO\, is granted a special status with UNESCO. Under the Invitation these are the positive outcomes expected:\n1. They (NCIDI) would organize the excursion to their design studio and production site.\n2. Our students can participate in the contest on design modelling ‘Design Challenge’\, where they would provide the place for work\, Wi-Fi\, the food and the mentor\n3. A 30 minute session by the Expert\, Vineet Raj Kapoor\, on Design\, at the International Industrial Design Day Celebration by WDO. \nWorld Industrial Design Day \nThis annual day of observance is held every 29 June\, WDO’s anniversary\, for industrial designers\, academics\, design students and non-designers impacted by the power if industrial design on a daily basis. This day of observance promotes awareness and the celebration of industrial design\, encouraging WDO Members and non-members to hold events such as exhibitions\, panels\, workshops\, open houses and other social functions. \nFrom 2009 to 2011\, an annual student poster competition was held for WDO’s Educational student members to participate; this activity concluded once the official World Industrial Design Day logo was introduced by WDO. Each year\, a theme is determined by the WDO Board of Directors and announced months in advance of 29 June in order for companies\, associations\, design schools and design agencies to plan their activities and outreach.

DESCRIPTION:Dubai Roundtable Skilling\nMedia & Entertainment Skills Council\, (MESC)\, one the pioneer council for skill training for M&E domain\, is hosting an Industry-Academia round table discussion titled “Fostering Skilling ecosystem by exchange of Knowledge\, service & resources” in association with FICCIon 23rd March at Dubai Expo 2020 in Dubai. Focused on bridging the skills gap increasingly faced by students and young professionals entering the media and entertainment sector\, the hybrid event brought together academic and profession experts from across the world to discuss ways of working together to address this challenge. He shared that putting a duration on SKILL Training was an unsound approach\, and pleaded everyone to take a fresh look at Skilling and freeing it from the clutches of a formal time based system. He suggested using a Level Achievement approach more often used in Gaming and Sports. He also shared the importance of Design Thinking.
