Organized by Promdiz.Space as International Conference on Industrial Design at Krasnoyarsk\, Siberia on 12-14 November 2025.  \nOn Nov 14\, 2025\, Vineet Raj Kapoor visited the Federal Siberian University with all other Expert Speakers (incidentally children’s day in India). He was amazed and felt humbled when the students surrounded him for my autograph and comments. He was happy to help them get feedback on their projects and portfolios. This visit was organised as part of the Promdiz.Space Event at Krasnoyarsk. Students are the same all over the world! Speakers\, including Tarun Chilikapudi (Greengold) and Bejoy Arputharaj (Phantom FX)\, shall offer Korean studios practical advice on collaborating with Indian counterparts. The panel would be moderated by Vineet Raj Kapoor\, Founder Chandigarh Design School\, who would be leading the Indian Delegation to Korea this year. The pre-evaluation of online games took place in April 2025\, where a select panel of global jurors assessed the top entries from this year’s finalists. \nMr. Kapoor was invited as a Juror for both Board and Digital Game categories\, representing India and the Asian Subcontinent\, marking a significant milestone for Indian design education on a global stage. \nEarlier\, Kapoor had also contributed to the Serious Play Conference 2023 held at Toronto Metropolitan University from October 11–13\, 2023. Ltd. on 7 February 2025. The topic for the Panel discussion was Gamification in Education and Knowledge Systems. \nConference was attended by about 100+ Faculty and Students across India.\nVineet Raj Kapoor (IDT Lead Expert Worldskills representing India\, and Founder SXILL and Chandigarh Design School) while sharing valuable insights into Gamification\, he said\,”Gamification is often used an excuse to micromanage learning. It defeats the entire purpose of gamification. Rather one should always be mindful of the core attributes of Gamification like Volunteerism\, Choices\, Willingness\, etc. He also said that the Game Mechanics should be very simple and consist of very few elements like in Chess\, or sports like Badminton. He said the Leaderboards and Feedbacks were the Killer Features of Gamification and should be implemented in the right manner for engagement to happen. Right to Learn is a great concept that I have often used to bring determination to the table. Story is an optional feature\, but used well\, it can enhance the quality of learning. He quipped\, “Don’t worry all this would be part of my upcoming book – SOLVXD: Think in Steps – that would be coming out soon. \nNeelu Kapoor (Indiaskills Graphic Design Technology Jury) and Founder SXILL mentioned\, “This was the third time Chandigarh Design School tendered a Faculty Development Program at Pune University. Earlier we have done programs for Thapar University\, Chitkara University\, GNDU\, Panjab University among others. We are also doing international Programs in Design Thinking with leading institutions abroad. We are aware that training a faculty is much more important as it can directly impact the lives of 1000s of students.”

DESCRIPTION:Chandigarh Design School Founder Vineet Raj Kapoor was at University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET)\, Panjab University Chandigarh on January 17\, 2025 to mentor and guide students from across various technical colleges attending the 3 Day Workshop on AI\, CAD and Robotics happening at UIET from 15-17 January\, 2025.\nUIET AI CAD Robotics Workshop\nThe workshop on “Hands-On AI\, CAD Modeling\, and Robotics for Advanced Engineering Solutions” was organised by the Sensor Energy and Automation Lab (SEAL)\, UIET under the Ministry of Human Resource Development’s (MHRD) SPARC initiative\, Government of India. \nThe workshop was coordinated by Dr. Gaurav Sapra\, Professor Rajesh Kumar\, and Dr. Garima Joshi from UIET in collaboration with Dr. Ankur Gupta from the Department of Cardiology\, PGIMER\, and Professor Mohsen Rahmani and Dr.Cuifeng Ying from Nottingham Trent University (NTU)\, UK. \nVineet Raj Kapoor\, India’s Expert on Industrial Design Technology for Worldskills apprised the students on various aspects on Worldskills while providing tips to students on how to prepare for the same. The students were given guidance on stages of IDT competition at Worldskills 2024 held at Groupama\, Lyon\, France. He shared the kind of preparation that competitors do to come out on top. He also guided them about the Indiaskills and the selection process stages right from district and state to regional and national competitions held by NSDC. He wished them the best for their preparations to qualify for Worldskills 2026 Shanghai. \nDelivering the vote of thanks\, Professor Rajesh Kumar acknowledged the contributions of trainers\, faculty members and volunteers in making the event a grand success. He acknowledged the deep insights provided by Vineet Raj Kapoor\, Founder SXILL and Chandigarh Design School. \nThe valedictory function was graced by PU Dean of International Students Professor Kewal Krishan\, as the Chief Guest. In his address\, he highlighted the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and shared insights from his team research on an AI-based model for identifying real and forged signatures\, emphasising its significance in addressing real-world challenges. \nVineet Raj Kapoor (Lead Expert IDT Worldskills\, and Founder SXILL and Chandigarh Design School) shared “Guiding students from UIET\, Panjab University was a wonderful opportunity. DESCRIPTION:Chandigarh\, 14 Sep 2024 – Indian IDT Expert Vineet Raj Kapoor as Expert Lead at Worldskills 2024 Lyon France. \nSep 13 Worldskills France\nChandigarh Design School Founder\, and SXILL Cofounder Vineet Raj Kapoor reach Lyon on 5 September 2024 to discharge his duties as Expert Lead as part of the Skill Management Team for Industrial Design Technology. The Indian Candidate Abhin Mittal finished in 5th Position in Industrial Design Technology at Worldskills France. \nThe Skill Management Team is formed of select experts from different nations\, and they collaborate to work towards having a successful Worldskills competition. They are involved in various aspect of the conduction of the Skill Competition. The current Skill Management Team in Worldskills IDT consists of Experts from China\, Taiwan\, Korea and India. During the Competition he was also proposed as Chief Expert for the next Worldskills for which elections would be held. \nHe attended every meeting at the WSI France\, and contributed positively to every meeting and well as brought forth important ideas which were implemented to ensure smooth conduct of the competition. The current CE both liked and welcomed his ideas and implemented them right away. Whenever there was an issue with the marking scheme\, he contributed proactively instead of waiting for it to peter out. He even brought serious issues to attention of the CCD without disrupting the competition or demanding immediate resolve\, since he understands that slips can happen\, and the idea is to improve. \nHe personally motivated and encouraged each of the IDT competitors and handled them calmly during issues. \nWorldskills – LRDC Statium Lyon France\nPost competition\, he provided prompt feedback and wrote a detailed mail as well as prepared a presentation to share the issues so that we can improve in future. \nHe has been to World’s Top Design Colleges including Sheridan College\, Canada\, Gobelins\, France\, NUST MISIS\, Russia\, as well as Konkuk University\, Kyung Hee University and others at South Korea and understands the difference in practices across the world\, and have the sensitivity to deal with it. The issue is more about the gamification losing track due to changed Reality. As a gamifier our task should be to get Reality back to track or Rather\, tween the system according to the Reality (NeoReality) – actually both. \nThis is useful for afficianados of Gamification who would try to find answers / solutions through Gamification and are many times surprised by lack of workability of solutions. I would cover environment issues which impact solutions differently in different environments. For e.g. Social work is voluntary\, employment is not (even though prima facie evidence points to volutarism element of the employment system). This is not a academic discussion – it has direct implications for practitioners from the fields of military\, corporate\, education. \nIf possible\, I would like to share a case study as a take away. However let me see how it shapes up.
