The event successfully conducted panel discussions\, pitches to top studios\, and live competitions\, showcased in the GAFX 2022 Official Showreel.  This list was showcased during the GAFX Event at Bengaluru. This is the first time someone from North India has been included in a Top 100 AVGC list. GAFX took place from 29-31 January 2024. \n \n Vineet Raj Kapoor Founder of SXILL and Chandigarh Design School and has served the student community of North India for more than 28 years. Besides he leads the Indian AVGC Delegation to ACE Fair\, South Korea every year. Commenting on the impact of Technology\, Vineet shared\, “Technology is created in an answer to the gaps\, so it is never art that is catching up\, but it is technology. Art in it’s zest jumps ahead creating gaps just like the Mendeleev’s table\, and it is for us\, to find the technology that can meet the expectations and fill the gaps. \nCommenting on AI\, Vineet said\, “AI is not capable of thinking ahead. It is instead a good servant who can do repetitive tasks with the accuracy unknown to man. However\, it is incapable of decisions.”

We covered the approach to Divergent Thinking and User Research for finding the pain points. And then techniques to converge the thinking towards defining the problem. Problems once identified can be solved easily.” \n  \nDr. Ankit Bansal who heads the Innovation Program said “This was a excellent exposure with really good insights into the process. Earlier we would go directly to building the apps on what we thought was the issue. But this has widened our horizon. We have understood how much research must be done before attempting the solution. The Fair is being held from 14-17  September 2023. \nThe Participation Fee was reduced for Indian Delegation and further incentives were added for Group\, Reparticipants\, and Women Entrepreneurs. The Participation Fee includes an Exhibition Stall and also had FREE (part sponsored) Air Ticket\, Hotel Stay and Limousine Pick and Drop for Participants. DESCRIPTION:SXILL took a giant step in Hosting the first ever SXILL Convocation for NSDC/ MESC QP Certification. This was done in order to step up the value of Skill Certification\, and distill honor amongst Artists. It was held on 26 August 2023 at SXILL. An MESC Certification is a Government recognition of the training Quality and would be useful for the students in the long run.\n  \nIndustry Leader Mr. Pradeep CEO of Incredimate was the Guest of Honor for 3D Modeller as well as Animator QP at the Convocation\nIndustry Leader Mr. Pradeep CEO of Incredimate was the Guest of Honor for 3D Modeller as well as Animator QP at the Convocation. He appreciated the enthusiasm of the students as well as the faculty at SXILL. He was overjoyed with the tour of the facility. He shared his our life journey as well as inspired the students with tips for success in life as an animator. \nPooja Arora\, Head North Region for MESC (Media and Entertainment Skill Council) was the Guest of Honor for Graphic Designer QP at the Convocation.\nPooja Arora\, Head North Region for MESC (Media and Entertainment Skill Council) was the Guest of Honor for Graphic Designer QP at the Convocation. She shared her experiences of working alongside the Experts at SXILL during Indiaskills in 2021-2022. She found that the Expertise at SXILL was way above that she normally finds at training institutes.
