DESCRIPTION:Chandigarh\, 14 Sep 2024 – Indian IDT Expert Vineet Raj Kapoor as Expert Lead at Worldskills 2024 Lyon France. \nSep 13 Worldskills France\nChandigarh Design School Founder\, and SXILL Cofounder Vineet Raj Kapoor reach Lyon on 5 September 2024 to discharge his duties as Expert Lead as part of the Skill Management Team for Industrial Design Technology. The Indian Candidate Abhin Mittal finished in 5th Position in Industrial Design Technology at Worldskills France. \nThe Skill Management Team is formed of select experts from different nations\, and they collaborate to work towards having a successful Worldskills competition. They are involved in various aspect of the conduction of the Skill Competition. The current Skill Management Team in Worldskills IDT consists of Experts from China\, Taiwan\, Korea and India. During the Competition he was also proposed as Chief Expert for the next Worldskills for which elections would be held. \nHe attended every meeting at the WSI France\, and contributed positively to every meeting and well as brought forth important ideas which were implemented to ensure smooth conduct of the competition. The current CE both liked and welcomed his ideas and implemented them right away. Whenever there was an issue with the marking scheme\, he contributed proactively instead of waiting for it to peter out. He even brought serious issues to attention of the CCD without disrupting the competition or demanding immediate resolve\, since he understands that slips can happen\, and the idea is to improve. \nHe personally motivated and encouraged each of the IDT competitors and handled them calmly during issues. \nWorldskills – LRDC Statium Lyon France\nPost competition\, he provided prompt feedback and wrote a detailed mail as well as prepared a presentation to share the issues so that we can improve in future. \nHe has been to World’s Top Design Colleges including Sheridan College\, Canada\, Gobelins\, France\, NUST MISIS\, Russia\, as well as Konkuk University\, Kyung Hee University and others at South Korea and understands the difference in practices across the world\, and have the sensitivity to deal with it. Currently he runs his own design studio\, as well as training institute and have also been in touch with a lot of students and teachers from across the world\, often exchanging ideas and advice. \nHe has been the Founding Dean at Chitkara Design School (2016-2023). He has worked in technical as well as management side of corporate sector too. With a lot of experience behind him\, he could handle the duties of Lead Expert very well. \nApplauding his achievement SXILL Founder Neelu Kapoor mentioned\, “Vineet’s zeal to work with students is unbeatable. He is able to get to their level and simplify things. The candidates trained by him performed exceptionally well in Indian and International Competitions.” India finished at within Top 5 positions in IDT at Worldskills 2024 at France.” \n“Whether I work with my own students or the top students of India nominated by the government\, my training methodology remains the same. Help students understand how they are going to be judged and they develop them to maximize they response to each aspect of every criterion of judgement. Vineet Raj Kapoor was selected as India’s Expert in 2022 and had selected and trained India’s Competitors for the Worldskills 2023. These competitors came from NID Ahmedabad\, MIT Pune and other colleges of India. \nHe continues to help Indiaskills find India’s best design talents in IDT\, by helping design and conduct tests as well as train students. \nHe has been selected to be a part of the Worlskills Skill Management Team for IDT. France won the bid to host the 47th WorldSkills Competition at WorldSkills General Assembly 2019 in Kazan\, Russia.\nIt is the second time for France and Lyon to be the host in the history of the international championship. The 33rd WorldSkills Competition previously took place in 1995 at EUREXPO Lyon\, the same venue that will now host WorldSkills Lyon 2024.\nWorldSkills Competition Lyon 2024 is a strong commitment to youth and their future which generates unprecedented international mobilization around skills\, competences and excellence.\nDespite the one-year postponement of the competition due to the pandemic\, the plan to host the global competition remains the same: to inspire young people in skills\, promote skills and change the perception on vocational education and training.\nWorldSkills Lyon 2024 is also a national project centered around the regions\, in particular the Metropolis of Lyon. It will be THE springboard and catalyst to develop and promote professional training adapted to current and future needs in terms of employment.\nThe competition and Team WorldSkills France\, which both are a result of the mobilization of regions and the commitment of partners to WorldSkills France\, are the first vectors of inspiration for young people and a tangible proof for the next generations of the relevance of skills and competences in a career and personal life with high potential.

DESCRIPTION:ACE Fair was held on 26-29 September 2024 at Kimdaejung Centre\, Gwangju\, South Korea.  \nIndian Delegation City Tour ACE Fair Gwangju South Korea\nThe Indian Delegation led by Vineet Raj Kapoor (Founder SXILL & Chandigarh Design School) had delegates from Media Guru\, Mumbai (Subhashish Mazumdar)\, Powertoons\, Hyderabad (Ashish Saxena)\, MESC India\, New Delhi (Roshni Sehgal)\, Mugafi\, Mumbai (Vipul Aggarwal & Tansha Batra)\, Elle Animation\, Bhubhaneshwar (Chandrashekhar Bhuyan & Santosh Reddy)\, Ssoftoons Entertainment and Media\, Kolkata (Hansa & Sourav Mondal)\, Just VFX\, Hyderabad (Sridhar Reddy)\, Snipix\, Hyderabad (Chilamkurthi Vamsi)\, Start Animation\, Hyderabad (Rakesh) and Khaja Vali (TVAGA\, Hyderabad) were part of the large delegation from India by Virtualsoft. Other Indian studios were Bhasinsoft Studios\, Alliance Studios\, Aha\, and Crossover Studios.  \nTVAGA pavillion was part of the Indian delegation and helped smaller Studios from Telengana showcase their work and get exposure about international markets. Indians represented one of the largest International contingents at ACE Fair this time.  \nStart Animation Studios\, India signed an MoU with an International Studio on 27 Sep\, 2024 during the MoU signing ceremony.  \nThe Studios had between 12-20 pre-arranged B2B meetings each. Each participating studio was picked up (and dropped back) from Incheon Airport\, Seoul and provided with a full time interpreter as well as a free ticket to the CDC Conference. They were also invited to a grand welcome party on the opening day.  \nOn Day 3\, the Studios were all invited to a city tour to Gwangju Biennale\, and after a sumptuous Bibimbap lunch at a traditional Korean restaurant went to visit Yangnim Dong Culture Village.  \nThe night time was a time of bonding with other Indian Studios and helped them understand each other’s capabilities and possibilities of collaboration.  \n“Our visit to the ACE Fair 2024 in Gwangju\, Korea\, was nothing short of exceptional. We are always seeking global opportunities to expand our footprint in the animation and entertainment sectors.
