DESCRIPTION:Vineet Raj Kapoor (Indian IDT Expert Worldskills\, and Founder SXILL) shall join the ASIFA team at WAVES Mumbai as ASIFA Evangelist for Chandigarh. He would be part of the Create in India campaign and guide and mentor students at WAVES from 1-4 May 2025. \nVineet Raj Kapoor said that he was really thrilled to be at Mumbai and the WAVES is a great initiative by the government of India to educate the youth about the opportunities and the ecosystem of animation and other creative industries. \nIndia occupies a dominant position in Media & Entertainment with talents spread across different geographies of the country\, creating compelling contents through its rich cultural heritage. It is poised to become one of the leaders in Media and Entertainment sector. Summit will promote India as one stop destination for content creation\, Investment destination and leverage ‘Create in India’ opportunities as well as for global outreach. \nWorld Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) is a key forum for promoting discussions\, collaboration\, and innovation in the M&E industry. The event will bring together industry leaders\, stakeholders and innovators to discuss prospects\, challenges\, promote global trade and influence the sector’s future. \nNeelu Kapoor (Indiaskills Graphic Design Technology Jury) and Founder SXILL mentioned that everyone at SXILL was really excited about WAVES and especially about Arjun Kumar\, a student of SXILL who was nominated for Best Animation Award by ASIFA Awards of Excellence. Our training has been recognized and awarded across Europe and Russia besides other nationals and it one the most viable ways of learning animation today. We take these awards from England as a Global Acceptance of our Brand. This helps students in Europe and America to have an alternative that is more value for money.
