Chandigarh Design School has started a course at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) also known as Thapar University on the subject “Creative Thinking for Professional Success”. This subject would run for the complete semester as is an optional course for students across all branches and years. This makes it one of the most important options for students wanted to rein in their creativity for benefit.
During this class Vineet Raj Kapoor (Indian IDT Expert Worldskills, and Founder Chandigarh Design School) shared, “Creativity is not the right of an individual but a practice of a patient individual”. He comments that anyone with the patience, grit and determination can rein in their creativity.
This is the first collaboration between Thapar University and Chandigarh Design School (powered by SXILL).
Chandigarh, 1 Feb 2024 – ASIFA presented the IAD Event at PG College at Sec 46 as well as PG College for Girls at Sec 42 on 31 Jan and 1 Feb 2024 respectively, co-presented by ASIFA Evangelist Vineet Raj Kapoor, alongwith the leading UX Design Institute Chandigarh Design School, and leading Animation Institute SXILL, and supported by AnimationXpress, Workkonnects, MESC, ACE Fair, iXDA. ASIFA is an International Community of Animation, with a mission of creating awareness of Animation Careers amongst students.
PGGC 46 hosted ASIFA International Animation Day at the campus on 31 Jan 2024. PGGCG 42 successfully hosted ASIFA International Animation Day at the campus on 1 Feb 2024.
The Speakers were Mangat Chauhan (Sr. Animation Supervisor Motu Patlu and Mentor SXILL) and Vineet Raj Kapoor (UX Design Mentor at Chandigarh Design School).

Bikramjit Singh (Production Head, Virtualsoft) shared the History of ASIFA and it's mission. He commented on how ASIFA works hard to bring awareness about these careers across the world. ASIFA Chandigarh has been conducting various seminars across the city to do it's part.
Mangat Chauhan briefed the students about the entire animation pipeline and various career opportunities across the entire process of making animation movies.
Vineet Raj Kapoor, Founder Chandigarh Design School, told the students about various Design Careers as well as how to make their own roadmaps to achieve success in those careers. He briefed the student on how decision making permeates all careers and would be a useful addition to any worthwhile career.
Thereafter the students asked about various careers in their mind right from mimicry to storywriting to animation to UX design and got clear roadmaps as well as advice to make a success of their dreams through examples behind the success stories of Steve Jobs, and other leaders.

Vineet Raj Kapoor (IDT Lead Expert Worldskills representing India, and Founder SXILL and Chandigarh Design School) shared “Training Faculty from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology also popularly known as Thapar University was a wonderful opportunity. The Faculty Development Program happened on 21 May 2024. We took care to equip them with enough examples and cases so as to be able to retain the information and put it in perspective since Design Thinking is a complex subject and is largely misrepresented. We trained them in various approaches to Design Thinking, and especially sensitized and trained them in the toughest field of empathetic thinking, since that is what most UX Designers in India lack. Being a practitioner and trainer of UX Design and Design Thinking since 2014, I feel responsible for the state of UIUX Design in India. Despite our best efforts, a large swathe of Industry as well as trainers are unaware of the possibilities of UX Design and think about it as a burden. We are doing our best to rectify the situation by giving great manpower to the starved Software Industry in India.” He quipped, “Don’t worry all this would be part of my upcoming book – SOLVXD: Think in Steps – that would be coming out soon.

SXILL and Chandigarh Design School Inspire students at Vocational Seminar at APS Chandimandir
Chandigarh, 15 October 2024 – SXILL and Chandigarh Design School actively participated in the Vocational Seminar at Army Public School, Chandimandir, where they offered students a unique opportunity to explore and understand career options in digital and creative fields. This event featured insightful sessions led by industry experts including Bikramjit Singh, SXILL’s Chief Mentor, who introduced students to the world of Digital Marketing—a field filled with growth potential and innovative opportunities for young creatives. Mangat Chauhan, Production Manager at Virtualsoft, captivated students with his expertise in animation, specifically through his work on the popular series Motu Patlu, showcasing the evolving entertainment landscape and high demand for skilled animators.
The seminar also highlighted Vineet Raj Kapoor, the visionary Founder of Chandigarh Design School, who delved into the growing fields of UI/UX Design and Game Design. Kapoor’s session gave students an in-depth view of how design principles intersect with technology, shaping user experiences and gaming as integral parts of the digital industry. Chandigarh Design School Founder Vineet Raj Kapoor, did a special interactive session for the students of Animation, Media and UIUX for a select group of students at DES University, Pune. The workshop was attended by more than 80 students at LH-513, Media School, DES University Campus. The prestigious Deccan Education Society, runs more than 400 colleges across Maharashtra including the Fergusson College at Pune.

Venu, a 2nd Year student of Bachelors in Animation, stated that, “I lacked confidence in my abilities, but after Vineet Sir’s talk, I feel motivated enough to take on any challenge. I have been part of GO48 International Competitions backed by SXILL and Chandigarh Design School and desire to win a medal this year.”
Ankit Jain, Co-rodinator Director at DES University, said, “The talk was really good, as usual I must say since I had also had the pleasure of hosting him earlier. Vineet Sir is a leading educationist in the Design and Animation Sector. There’s always a lot to learn from him. He is very well connected with all top studios of India. We also have him in our Board of Studies so that our program remains relevant for the studios across the country.”

Chandigarh Design School trained a select group of Panjab University students in Design Thinking for CSDE, DIC and IIC lead Design Thinking Course for students across Panjab University including MBA and Engineering Students. This program was conducted from 7-20 December 2024 at CSDE, Sec 25, Panjab University. It was attended by more than 30 students across Panjab University.

The students of the cohort were asked to work on the current problem faced by Panjab University Students and PGIMER Patients, of the PGI-PU crossing. The Chief Guest at the Valedictory, ex Vice Chancellor Panjab University Prof. Grover lauded the Design Thinking Course by Chandigarh Design School by saying, “The students have worked on a very relevant problem and the country needs more such programs which make them problem solvers. He commented on how education moved away from relevance in recent times, and the need to bring it back on track by such programs. This program should be taught to at least 6000 students every year.”
Arya Kalia, an MBA student of University Business School, Panjab University, who attended the course, stated that, “I gained a lot from this course. Vineet Sir’s examples were very relevant and helped us understand the fundamentals in depth with clarity.”
Ashman Kaur Kohli, another student from MBA, mentioned “I personally gained a lot from Vineet Sir’s Sessions and I shall be using these learning in my professional as well as personal life.”

Chandigarh Design School Founder Vineet Raj Kapoor delivered his keynote speech at the International Conference on “Activity Based Language Learning: Challenges and Opportunities” that was organized by DES Pune University in collaboration with ICSSR and Coolture Desighns Pvt. Ltd. on 7 February 2025. The topic for the Panel discussion was Gamification in Education and Knowledge Systems.
Conference was attended by about 100+ Faculty and Students across India.
Vineet Raj Kapoor (IDT Lead Expert Worldskills representing India, and Founder SXILL and Chandigarh Design School) while sharing valuable insights into Gamification, he said,”Gamification is often used an excuse to micromanage learning. It defeats the entire purpose of gamification. Rather one should always be mindful of the core attributes of Gamification like Volunteerism, Choices, Willingness, etc. He also said that the Game Mechanics should be very simple and consist of very few elements like in Chess, or sports like Badminton. He said the Leaderboards and Feedbacks were the Killer Features of Gamification and should be implemented in the right manner for engagement to happen. Right to Learn is a great concept that I have often used to bring determination to the table. Story is an optional feature, but used well, it can enhance the quality of learning.
