Congratulations to Arjun Kumar for winning the "Best Animator" Nomination in India Awards at World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025. We are extremely proud of all our students at SXILL and Chandigarh Design School and their performance. The crusade for Character Animation Training started in 2010 and has provided many stalwarts to the Industry. Wish the best to Arjun!

Arjun Kumar shared his experience of Training at SXILL, “I had personal mentoring at every step of my learning at SXILL. Although it is a pleasant surprise for me to be nominated for India’s Best Animator Award, since I have learnt alongside many animators at SXILL who were as good as me. This nomination is also thanks to my Animation Mentor Mangat Chauhan who is the ex-Creative (Animation) Director of Motu Patlu. His guidance has made sure that all learners at SXILL come up to the same level. When my friends at other institutes are struggling to find jobs, SXILL has helped many of us to find jobs at top studios.”

Chandigarh Design School Founder is NSDC Certified UIUX Expert

Vineet Raj Kapoor (Indian IDT Expert Worldskills, and Founder SXILL) shared “I am happy to share that I have successfully been certified as Certified Trainer for the Qualification Pack of User Experience Designer (SSC/Q8404) - v2.0 conforming to National Skill Qualification Framework Level – 5.”

NASSCOM's skilling initiatives aim to bridge the skills gap in the IT-BPM industry and empower individuals with digital skills. They offer various programs, including FutureSkills Prime, which focuses on emerging technologies, and initiatives targeting marginalized youth and women through the Skilling and Employability program. Today NASSCOM is the IT-ITES Skill Sector Council for Government of India, under NSDC.

Neelu Kapoor (Indiaskills Graphic Design Technology Jury) and Founder SXILL said “This Certification brings more transparency to the UIUX Design learners of India, since many of them have lost precious time and money to spurious online courses with dubious certificates. UIUX Designer Certification through NASSCOM/ NSDC ensures that our students get verifiable credentials that stay behind them all their life and are also part of the NSQF and get entered in their APAR Accounts aka Academic Bank of Credits. This is the only government recognized Certificate Course in India.”

NASSCOM Certified UIUX Design Trainer, Vineet Raj Kapoor shared that they are starting a special course for practicing UIUX Designers as well so that they can shore up their skills while also acquiring the missing qualification. There is a longer UIUX Design course for fresher wherein we have a sprint based learning methodology akin to the actual workplace environment.”

In the present scenario of industrialization; particularly in the engineering field, requirements of specialized tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, moulds, gauges and other precision components are indispensable. Simultaneously demand for quality Tool makers, Tool & Product Designers, Skilled manufacturers, PLC & Industrial Automation engineers and Maintenance Engineers is also growing rapidly. Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar is one of such training, production, design and consultancy centre established in technical cooperation programme between Govt. of India & Govt. of Denmark to meet the above requirements. The excellent infrastructural facilities like land, building etc. have been contributed by Govt. of Orissa. Training activities started in 1991 and Tool production in 1995.

SXILL Founder is part of ASIFA Team at WAVES 2025 Mumbai

Vineet Raj Kapoor (Indian IDT Expert Worldskills, and Founder SXILL) shall join the ASIFA team at WAVES Mumbai as ASIFA Evangelist for Chandigarh. He would be part of the Create in India campaign and guide and mentor students at WAVES from 1-4 May 2025.

Vineet Raj Kapoor said that he was really thrilled to be at Mumbai and the WAVES is a great initiative by the government of India to educate the youth about the opportunities and the ecosystem of animation and other creative industries.

India occupies a dominant position in Media & Entertainment with talents spread across different geographies of the country, creating compelling contents through its rich cultural heritage. Vineet Raj Kapoor, is nominated for the 10th time in a row to Head the Indian Delegation of Film Makers, Producers, Financiers, Animations and Game Designers to ACE Fair, Gwangju South Korea. ACE Fair is promoted by the Korean Government, and is considered the biggest Contents Fair of Asia. The Fair is being held from 28 - 31 August, 2025.

Panel Discussion by representatives of Indian Delegation at ACE Fair 2025, Gwangju, South Korea

Gwangju, South Korea— The 20th ACE Fair will be held on 28-31 August 2025 at Kimdaejung Centre, Gwangju, South Korea. 

A panel discussion titled “Next-Gen Talent & Global Collaborations: India's Animation, Gaming & VFX Evolution” is planned in the context. Speakers, including Tarun Chilikapudi (Greengold) and Bejoy Arputharaj (Phantom FX), shall offer Korean studios practical advice on collaborating with Indian counterparts. The panel would be moderated by Vineet Raj Kapoor, Founder Chandigarh Design School, who would be leading the Indian Delegation to Korea this year. He has led the Indian Delegation to Korea since 2016.

He would also be a part of the panel discussion organized by ACE Fair Gwangju on the topic of Next-Gen : Talent and Global Collaborations specially involving Indian Animation and FX community.

Our goal would be is to move beyond the outdated notion of India as just an outsourcing destination and to explore the real, high-value partnerships possible in animation, gaming, and VFX. We have leaders here from across the Indian ecosystem to tell us how.
