We at SXILL and Chandigarh Design School are happy to represent India once again! We were part of the Panel Discussion on Nov 2, 2025, on Industrial Design as a Catalyst for Global Production and Economic Development for discussing hos Industrial Design has emerged as the mainstream discipline for economic development and how it is both part of Engineering as well as Creative Economies. Organized by Promdiz.Space as International Conference on Industrial Design at Krasnoyarsk, Siberia on 12-14 November 2025. Leaders from multiple Design Studios and Government bodies shared their experiences and challenges. The panel consisted of Yu. V. Filatova, A. I. Chernikov, Margarita Parandino, Sergey Smirnov, Pavel Konovich, Vineet Raj Kapoor, Ivan Myachev.

Later in the day, Vineet Raj Kapoor was the International Keynote speaker as he presented a speech on The Indian model of industrial design development: from educational programs to industrial partnerships.

PromDiz 2025 is a major professional platform that has brought together leaders in industrial design, the manufacturing sector, educational institutions, and government agencies for the third year in a row. The event fosters dialogue between theory and practice, academic knowledge and market demands, local initiatives and global trends.

He shared the story of India in Industrial Design that is now shaping Make in India and other growth stories which is fast making India an Industrial destination in addition to it being a software superpower.
