Design Thinking Corporate Workshop by Vineet Raj Kapoor

Circulants Pune, Maharashtra, India

Chandigarh Design School Founder Vineet Raj Kapoor, did a special corporate workshop for Circulants USA, for their Pune and Jaipur Teams. The workshop was attended by more than 40 employees across both the location. It was done in hybrid mode with Pune attending live and Jaipur joining through the zoom. Circulants is a leading IT Solutions provider from California. They have been using the services of Virtualsoft and Vineet Raj Kapoor as their Design Principal in the past for various international projects.

Vineet Raj Kapoor (Indian IDT Lead Expert Worldskills, and Founder SXILL and Chandigarh Design School) shared “Training the employees of Circulants USA was a wonderful opportunity since it was our first Offline Corporate Training in Design Thinking after COVID. We trained them in various approaches to solve problems keeping the Human Factors in mind while not compromising on the business side of design. Being a practitioner and trainer of UX Design and Design Thinking since 2014, I was aware of the huge gap between theory and practice that exists in India even in the top institutes. So we focused on problem finding right from the start, and also about developing personas, and taking it from there to concept design, while passing through various phases like user journey mapping and other steps.” He quipped, “Don’t worry all this would be part of my upcoming book – SOLVXD: Think in Steps – that would be coming out soon.

Sanjay Koshathwar, Founder at Circulants, said, “Vineet is brilliant when it comes to Design Thinking. I have rarely seen another Indian who is as sharp with Design and Business. He never loses the sight of the final goal while dribbling the ball. Learning from him is an immense opportunity for my staff. I look forward to having him around more often.”

Neelu Kapoor (Indiaskills Graphic Design Technology Jury) and Founder SXILL mentioned, “This was the first time Chandigarh Design School tendered an Offline Workshop in Design Thinking at Circulants, and we are quite excited by the quality of the staff at Circulants. Before this we had tendered Faculty Development Program at Chitkara, Pune University, Thapar University as well as student sessions for DY Patil University, Panjab University, Thapar University, BITS Pilani and others.”
